Dr. Vashi has a special interest in scalable best practices in the field of breast imaging and improving breast cancer diagnosis and treatment in the community setting where 85% of breast cancers are diagnosed and initially treated. Dr. Vashi has served in multiple physician executive roles over the past two decades. She has held the following national leadership positions at HCA Healthcare and Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare: member of Sarah Cannon Breast Cancer Leadership Committee, the HCA Healthcare Imaging Governance Council, the High Risk Women’s Program Steering Committee, and the High Risk Women’s Program Affinity Group. She has also served locally as a member of the HCA Houston Healthcare Oncology Governance Board and as the Chair of the HCA Houston Healthcare Breast Program. Dr. Vashi served as a founding board member for Radiology Partners-Rose Imaging Specialists from 2021-2023. Clinically, she serves as the lead interpreting physician at the Solis Mammography Memorial Villages and Solis Mammography Nacogdoches locations in Hedwig Village and Nacogdoches, TX. Dr. Vashi has authored and presented numerous peer-reviewed research studies and educational abstracts and articles in breast imaging. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exploring the Houston food scene, fitness, travel, and fashion.
