Stephen L. Rose, MD is the Founder and President of Rose Imaging Specialists, the nation’s greatest largest group of breast imaging specialists. He is a nationally renowned breast radiologist and has dedicated his practice to the diagnosis of early breast cancer detection for more than three decades. Dr. Rose is on the forefront of the implementation of state-of-the-art breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsies, 3D mammography, and contract enhanced mammography. Dr. Rose is considered one of the nation’s leading experts in 3D mammography and breast imaging speaking at approximately 100 local media and national conferences. He has also had the honor to speak to Texas legislation regarding the necessity of provider coverage of tomosynthesis in 2017, resulting in statewide acceptance for tomosynthesis . He is actively involved in all our locations, serving as the Medical Director for the Houston Area, the Medical Director and lead interpreting physician for Tops Comprehensive Breast Center locations. He is featured in the Smithsonian Magazine, and received the “Susan G. Dr. Magda Ghobashy has served as Medical Director for Houston Methodist in the Woodlands Breast Center. Dr. Vashi has a special interest in scalable best practices in the field of breast imaging and improving breast cancer diagnosis and treatment in the community setting where 85% of breast cancers are diagnosed and initially treated. Dr. Vashi has served in multiple physician executive roles over the past two decades. She has held the following national leadership positions at HCA Healthcare and Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare: member of Sarah Cannon Breast Cancer Leadership Committee, the HCA Healthcare Imaging Governance Council, the High Risk Women’s Program Steering Committee, and the High Risk Women’s Program Affinity Group. She has also served locally as a member of the HCA Houston Healthcare Oncology Governance Board and as the Chair of the HCA Houston Healthcare Breast Program. Dr. Vashi served as a founding board member for Radiology Partners-Rose Imaging Specialists from 2021-2023.
